Hey, I'm wondering who will be the first retailer in the U.S. to offer the new Yamaha PSR-9000. The first store to advertise it on the Web is sure to get some new customers . . . (I'll probably be one of them).
OK, George or Fran, when will you have them?

I ordered 6 PSR 9000's at NAMM. There was a slight change in the retail price as expected. It will retail at $3495.00 without a hard drive. As of this moment, Yamaha states they will be shipping in about a week, but I won't believe it till I see it. I have pre sold 3 of the first six on order. George Kaye

Steve. yes, the hard drive in your 9000 will work in Tyros. Yamaha says every hard drive they've tested works in the tyros as long as it is a laptop size drive. George Kaye Kaye's Music Scene Reseda, California

I'm missing something here. The NEW PSR9000? What's new about the PSR9000? The price? Isn't the Tyros selling at around $3000? Why would somone want to pay more for something less?
